With the updated, powerful Bosch Performance Line CX motor boasting no less than 120 Nm of torque , the Charger5 Vario has significantly more power than its predecessor, the Charger4 Vario. Furthermore, Riese & Müller has equipped this e-bike with a strong 800 Wh battery — a clear improvement over the 750 Wh battery in the Charger4 Vario.

Gear system

The Riese & Müller Charger5 Vario is equipped with the Enviolo Utility gear system , which allows for stepless shifting. You might be wondering: what exactly is stepless shifting? It means that you can adjust the gear at any time, even when stationary, without any noticeable 'jumps' between gears. Ideal at traffic lights or on hills . Additionally, the Charger5 Vario features a low-maintenance belt drive.
