About us

 Manchester Bikes is a trading name of Cycle Waggle LTD, which started as Manchester Bike Hire in July 2013 with a handful of hire bikes. Founder Pavol Gajdos was joined by Richard Armitage in 2014 and Stefan Ondo in 2015.

Bambino Biking started by Chris Leakey in 2016, joined in when Chris and Pavol met in 2017 at a cycling event where they were both exhibiting and with a shared passion for active travel and utility cycling they started working together.  

Manchester Bikes based at their shop on Chapel Street is now one of the biggest  suppliers of cargo bikes and trailers in the UK.

Our services:

Sales: Cargo bikes and trikes, e-bikes, city bikes, kids bikes, commuter bikes, cargo trailers, special needs and disability trikes, family cycling accessories.

Hire: A huge variety of bikes to hire, from 2 hours to 1 month at a time. Long term hire available (terms and conditions apply).

Repairs & Servicing: Our experienced mechanics can service and repair almost any bike. 
Guided bike tours: We offer on demand guided bike tours, guiding visitors of Manchester via custom tailored routes and points of interest. 

Events: Demonstration and trail and advice sessions for cycling and active travel events.

Repairs and maintenance sessions: Dr bike sessions, repairs and maintenance sessions, mechanical support for cycling events and much more, we have done it all. 

Fleet and contract management: We mange a range of  public  and private hire bike fleets.  Full or part maintenance and management services available. 

Consultancy:  Got a project involving bikes, need some help getting going? We can help with paid consultancy, bid writing and procurement of bikes.
